ELAINE MONTALVO is a Costume Designer for Film and Television. She is originally from Central California and resides in Los Angeles. Her credits include the award-winning Searchlight feature Flamin’ Hot directed by Eva Longoria and starring Jesse Garcia, One True Loves starring Simu Liu, and the acclaimed films Real Women Have Curves, Chuck and Buck, and A Better Life, for which Demián Bichir was nominated for an Academy Award. Television credits include the series Blindspotting, Gentefied, and The Walking Dead. Elaine studied Film and Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley. She then received her Master of Fine Arts degree in Costume Design and Creative Writing from the California Institute of the Arts.
Elaine brings a deep level of insight and commitment to every project. Her latest project, Disney's Alexander and the Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip, will be released in the Spring of 2025.
